2008

I can't believe that it's 2009! It seems like 2008 flew by so quickly. I wanted to take a minute and go back and reflect on some of the wonderful blessings that our Heavenly Father has given us in this last year.

1. Brycen Matthew Stronks blessed our home and lives on Aug. 21st. Our Heavenly Father has blessed and watched over me more than I could possibly hope for. When Jesse and I got married we didn't know if it would even be possible for us to have children. It's such a huge strain and a lot of hard work for a diabetic to be able to have children. Our Heavenly Father watched over my boyz and I and it was a breeze, even though Brycen decided he wanted to come 3 1/2 weeks early.

2. Jesse's business has been so wonderful. It was a huge decision for us to start on our own, but we knew that's what our Heavenly Father wanted us to do. We went with faith and worked very hard and now we have a business that is doing very well despite the economy.

3. Our Families are one of the hugest blessings. We both have extremely supportive and loving families. We wouldn't make it very far without them in our lives.

4. Health can be a very scary thing. Their are so many individuals who are struggling with their health and the health of their families. Our Heavenly Father has blessed us so far with great health. Our children are growing a maturing the way that they should, and my husband and I are feeling great. I couldn't ask for anymore.

5. Jesse and I were able to take some great time together and travel. We were able to take a cruise with my Dad, Gigi, Jade and Kyle to the Panama Canal. It was fun to be able to get to know each one of them better and spend time with Jesse and work at keeping our relationship strong.

6. Something else I feel was a huge blessing in my life is the fact that I was able to go through my pregnancy with Jade. It was so truly fun to have some one to share that experience with. I feel that it really helped Jade and I grow closer together as sisters and friends. Pore Jade was a week over due, and with me being 3 1/2 weeks early we were able to have our babies within a few ours apart on the same day. I hope that our children will be able to share some great memories together and be very close friends.

I am so thankful for all that we have been blessed with this year, I could go on and on with my list. I look forward to this up coming year and the great joy it will bring if we are living the way that Our Father in Heaven wants us to.
