A Girls Afternoon

Yesterday Nicole, Paige and I had a really fun girls afternoon together. We spent a few hours dry packing oatmeal, hot chocolate mix, black beans, and flour at the church cannery and then went to Sonic and had a Route 44. You may be asking what is a Route 44, because I sure did when we pulled up to the drive thru, but Its the largest drink I have every had in my entire life. It was very tasty, but I only made it thru 1/4 of it before my eyes were bobbing up and down from all of the liquid.

It was really nice to have served at the cannery. It was a new experience for me, but its something that I think I will do regularly. It was very up lifting knowing that I was there helping others. I really take for granted how truly blessed I am. Although I recommend if you are going to help dry packing to wear a mask because you inhale all of the powder. After we packed the Hot chocolate mix I felt like I was on a huge sugar high.

It was so nice to have spent that time with two wonderful women that I truly admire. They both have such a sweet, happy spirit about them, and I am so blessed to have them as my friends.
